People Connector

The AIDSLEX People Connector is a resource to assist in your or your organization’s work on HIV as it relates to law, policy and human rights. What follows is a list of individuals from around the world who have experience working on one or more of the topics featured on AIDSLEX and who could support your work by:

• providing expert advice and guidance on policy development;
• offering a human rights perspective on a particular issue; or
• recommending material to support advocacy efforts (e.g., campaigning for law reform, making a submission to a legislature, litigating a case, etc.)

Please note that you should not expect legal advice from these resource people, nor that they will necessarily be in a position to respond to every enquiry, especially about individual cases before the courts. They have included themselves in the AIDSLEX People Connector because of their work on these issues and their interest in connecting with others working on HIV-related legal and policy matters, but all such networking is entirely dependent on the time and interest of those involved.

The People Connector is a growing resource that will expand over time as more individuals are identified and included. We also plan to transform the People Connector into a searchable database.
